Job Description:

Here at CA Technologies-A Broadcom Company, you will be working in the Mainframe division. Our teams are focused on developing modern data privacy and compliance solutions to the data centric users on the Mainframe. Bringing these solutions to the market involves working closely with product management and architects to create highly complex, sophisticated and quality software that span several teams. We believe radically transforming the way software is built, delivered and monitored is exciting stuff, and we're looking for developers who want to join the fun.

Work Location: Lisle, IL

What you will be doing in a typical week:

* Applying your past experience to inform the product roadmap;
* Experimenting with new technologies that improve our software;
* Developing modern high-quality software;
* Interactions with customers for demos, and feedback sessions;
* Work closely with UX design engineers to design and implement user interfaces;
* Drive opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity through best practices.

Qualifications:

At the end of the day, the main things we're searching for are talent and passion. However, experience in one or more of these areas could make you a great addition to our team:

* At least 5+ years of experience developing modern large-scale software with prime focus on Java and JavaScript;
* Strong Experience with Java, XML, SOAP, RESTful APIs is highly desired; Experience in specifications like Swagger is a plus;
* Experience in software testing methodologies such as BDD, TDD etc.;
* Experience developing test automation using frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, Jest, Enzyme etc.;
* Experience with DevOps and Continuous integration tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Webpack, TeamCity, NPM etc.;
* Strong Database Application designing and implementation skills - ODBC/JDBC
* Schema design, queries, procedures, triggers etc.;


* Experience with Machine Learning algorithms/Data engineering is a plus;
* Experience in Agile Software Development;
* Experience in SAFe is a plus;
