THE ROLE

Our product team is expanding and seeking top-tier Senior Software Engineers (Full Stack and Back End). We're looking for independent thinkers that want to take ownership of parts of the stack and guide the technological decision-making of a young company.

We're facing a variety of hard data processing problems and are looking for people excited about tackling them. Many of these problems are open-ended and the people we hire can select the appropriate tech to address them. In addition, we have a web app implemented in Python / Flask / PostgreSQL / AngularJS which needs to be expanded and maintained.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Design, build, maintain, and enhance features on an AngularJS web app
* Design and build the backend for a Flask-based web app
* Integrate with an existing data collection platform
* Build HTML/CSS pages based on artist mockups
* Work with the UX team to design new features

REQUIREMENTS

* 6 years of full-time software engineering experience
* Proficient in Python
* Proficient in JavaScript
* Experience with AngularJS
* Experience with relational databases / ORM
* Experience working with a testing framework, such as nose/unit test/Jasmine
* Ability to implement high fidelity mockups in HTML/CSS
* Experience in a startup environment a plus
