Job Description

At Walt Disney Animation Studios we have a deep commitment to the philosophy that creativity inspires technology, and technology inspires creativity. Engineers are charged with developing and implementing processes for solving unique and challenging problems for all of our movies.

We have an exciting multi-year vision targeting a radically different approach to our production process for creating world-leading visual content.

What we are doing:

* Re-imaging a cloud native pipeline
* Embracing USD as our native unifying data format
* Building a next-generation of immersive artist tools on top of an in house application framework
* Moving our rendering to a unified renderer for both final frame and interactive visualization

Embarking on these new technical strategies requires us to invest in our build, release, and configuration management strategy and support. This will allow us to remain agile, flexible and effective in our platform and development process. We are looking for a talented engineer to join our Production Technology team. In this role, you will partner with software development, systems infrastructure, project management, and leadership across technology and production within the studio to ensure the execution, support and delivery of our new long term vision for the Studio.

Are you passionate about enabling a hands-on experience for multiple teams to experience Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment systems? Does the idea of enabling a future facing platform helping stay on top of industry trends and state of the art technology excite you?
