Job Description

Performing systems analysis, software design and development, testing, implementation and technical support of Data Warehouse, Data Mart and Business Intelligence systems relating to Capital Planning processes and projects. Implementing business requirements via software design and development and data validation, using a combination of Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) functions, Structured Query Language (SQL) programming, stored procedures, Unix Scripts, functions and packages and scheduler tools. Defining technology solutions and performing design and development using Informatica ETL platform, Oracle Databases, SQL and PL/SQL, Qlikview Dashboarding Tool, Windows and Unix/Linux Operating Systems, Autosys Scheduling tool and SFTP/FTP and Moody's Risk Foundation platform. Designing and implementing Star Schema and Snowflake Schema. Performing data modeling, data profiling and dimensional modeling. Architecting scalable technical solutions based on a thorough understanding of business requirements gathered from end users. Evaluating and analyzing current software implementations and processes and providing recommendations for optimization and reduction of maintenance costs and overheads. Defining Systems and Integration testing (SIT) plans and test scripts, guiding and assisting testers in executing SIT plans and test scripts, and guiding and assisting end-users in defining User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and test scripts. Providing Root-cause-Analysis (RCA) for all troubleshooting events with a focus on preventing future occurrence of issues. Coordinating with offshore team members in all phases of Capital planning projects within design, development, testing and implementation phases. Creating and maintaining technical documentation including operational manuals for Informatica ETLs, functional and detailed design documentation, and Qlikview reports, Oracle Stored procedures and views for Moody's Risk Foundation platform. Providing production support for data integration with downstream systems.
