Dun & Bradstreet is seeking a Software Engineer to join our engineering team for designing and implementing a cloud-based product. You would be a member of an Agile team tasked with developing new functionality as well as maintaining and supporting the existing, customer facing product releases. The ideal candidate must be self-directed and a fast learner, flexible enough to work on new technologies as well as legacy components.

Responsibilities:

* Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule.
* Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology and products.
* Work with the product and UX teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
* Help improve our code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews.

Position Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
* Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts and design.
* 6+ years Java development experience.
* Experience with configuring, developing, and deploying scalable applications within web/application frameworks and servers (Apache/Tomcat, Spring, J2EE, Angular, Spring Boot, AWS etc.)
* Experience with ORMs.
* Experience with SOA and web services (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON).
* Experience with test-driven development and continuous delivery in an agile software development environment.
* Agile development experience. Scrum, XP, etc.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
