Overview

KeyW is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support our client in Vienna, VA. This position requires a Top Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

* Provide technical, managerial, and administrative direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation for complex to extremely complex systems in the subject matter area.
* Make recommendations and advise on organization-wide system improvements and optimization or maintenance efforts in the following specialties: information systems architecture, networking, telecommunications, automation, communications protocols, risk management/electronic analysis, software, lifecycle management, software development methodologies, modeling, and simulation.
* Commensurate experience in IT with new and older technology that directly relates to the required area of expertise.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

* Must be able to demonstrate expertise in Systems Development Life Cycle framework.
* Must be able to demonstrate expertise in developing IT solutions.
* Must be able to demonstrate experience with version control systems.
* Must be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, Linux, and script languages.
* Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of the Agile Scrum methodology.
* Must be able to demonstrate experience with performance management/measurement methods, tools, and techniques.
* Must be able to demonstrate experience with systems testing and evaluation principles, methods, and tools.
* Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of new and emerging information technologies and/or industry trends.
* Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of project management principles and methods.
* Experience with Agile Scrum methodology.



Education and Years of Experience:

* Master's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience in software development; OR
* Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in software development; OR
* Ten years of relevant experience in software development or business analysis.

Clearance:

* This position requires a Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly.
