Our Converged Infrastructure Software Engineering team is expanding their Richardson based operation. We are currently hiring Software Engineers to join our team, and work on strategic automation initiatives.

The team are responsible for delivering high quality, enterprise class M&O solutions to Converged Infrastructure customers.

Through dedication, passion and innovative thinking, the global team has grown significantly in recent years. The software solutions we develop offer end-to-end automation and lifecycle management of Converged Infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Designs and develops enterprise M&O software for our VxBlock solutions
* Works with stakeholders to determine software requirements
* Investigates new technologies and techniques and researches ongoing industry developments
* Generates technical documentation as well as unit and functional tests
* Mentors junior developers in industry best practices, procedures, and concepts
* Works closely with other engineering teams to help with ongoing feature development, product maintenance and solution sustaining

Essential Requirements

* Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent professional experience
* Minimum of 6-8 years' experience in software automation design & development
* REST API development and integration
* Experience in infrastructure automation development using Ansible/YAML
* Experience in development using Node JS
* Experience in development using Angular
* Experience withCisco,VMware and Dell EMC products and solutions
* Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
* Must be highly motivated and willing to work and learn in a team environment
* Strong communication skills
* Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Dockers, CI/CD tools

Desirable Requirements

* Experience working in AGILE (Scrum)
* Experience with continuous integration development and release cycles
* Experience applying unit testing to components under development and maintenance (Jasmine, Karma, Jenkins, Testrail)
* Ability to thoroughly document the design of new software and maintain documentation throughout the lifecycle
