Job Description

Qrypt is looking for an experienced backend developer to help build our next generation cryptographic platform with new and advanced algorithms while mentoring others. You will be playing a crucial role in the design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of our end-to-end encryption system.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be encouraged to work collaboratively with other teams to design architectural and infrastructural improvements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on platform builder with significant experience in developing scalable solutions. They must have a strong, firsthand technical expertise in a variety of configuration management and next-generation technologies and the proven ability to fashion robust scalable solutions that can manage large data sets. This person should embody a passion for continuous improvement and test-driven development in addition to a deep curiosity in cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

* As an experienced engineer, you'll help define and execute on our long-term projects that are critical to the business.
* Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices as well as mentor junior developers.
* You will build systems that deliver high-quality, high-availability services and actively seek for improvements to help evolve our platform.
* Design and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies.
* Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
* Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites.
* Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Due to the nature of our product, employees must have the ability to obtain a security clearance in the future.

* 8+ years of experience in software development with increased responsibility and proven ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision and great ownership.
* Python development experience in Linux environment; experience with CentOS/Redhat; Flask; NGINX; Redis; RabbitMQ, Azure, Docker.
* Comfortable working in an Agile environment with dynamic objectives.
* Experience deploying and running a live service.
* Strong engineering background with preferred fields in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Software Engineering and a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
* Quality and testing is part of your development process.
