About the job:

GRM US Claims IT is actively searching for a Senior Software Developer for our Seattle based team. You will join a team of talented developers who are focused on the development of applications that support the process of assessing auto damage and all related services and integrations. These are highly visible applications with broad impact across the Claims domain at Liberty. You'll have the opportunity to work in a casual, Agile environment to collaborate closely with other developers, architects, and test engineers. You will leverage moderinized tech stack consisting of Java, AWS, Spring Boot, ReactJS and Docker.

What you'll do:

* Develop complex Enterprise Applications in a fully scaled Agile Environments.
* Develop enhancements to our enterprise application with Java and JEE.
* Develop new cloud based applications with Java and Springboot.
* Drive and Participate in unit test case development
* Develop test scripts with JUnit, JMeter and Selenium.
* Interact with customers and development team to gather and define requirements
* Work within project team on iterative development that delivers a high-quality product.
* Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
* Analyze user stories for validity and feasibility
* Provide functional/system integration testing support.
* Participate in Quality Assurance coding and design review
* Plan work out appropriately, and escalate issues that may impact scope, schedule, budget.
* Participate in the development of Build and Deployment guide and script
* Mentor and guide the work of more junior software developers
* May be asked to provide on-call support.

What you offer:

* Enterprise-level software development experience in an object-oriented language Guidewire or ClaimCenter (helpful)
* Knowledge of front-end integration and development with JavaScript (React helpful), CSS and HTML, JSP.
* Experience with Eclipse or RAD IDE
* Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2
* Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as BitBucket/Git o Ant or Gradle o Jenkins
* Experience with Cloud Technologies such as AWS and Docker
* An evident appreciation of and the ability to apply current and emerging technology trends
* Knowledge of backend/RESTful services
* Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
* Proficient in IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies, architectures and technical standards.
* Expertise in Java programming language and tools.
* Expertise in new and emerging technologies.
* Expertise in design and development tools.
* Expertise in layered systems architectures and layered solutions and designs; understanding of shared software concepts
* Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Cloud Foundry
