Job Description

Sable is a critical component of Amazon's eCommerce Platform. It provides a data storage & computation platform for eCommerce services to host and manage their data & computations in a cost effective way. Mission critical systems rely of the platform's high performance, throughput and availability to serve the needs of various customer-facing commerce use cases. Controlling this system requires advanced tooling and capabilities to automate operations and minimize manual efforts.

Our team is building the next generation of framework and tools for Sable control operations. We develop generic, scalable products that will be used by additional operations teams controlling Amazon systems. Our mission is to reduce operational burden in Sable and other critical systems by simplifying and automating the control operations through dedicated framework and tooling.

You are an ideal candidate if you have strong experience in designing, implementing and operating distributed systems. Our engineers are self-motivated and customer-focused individuals with a good instinct for developing software services in a scalable and maintainable manner. You must enjoy working on complex software systems in a customer-centric environment and be passionate about building good software that shines in operational reality.
