Job Description

Fluke Networks is looking for an outstanding senior web developer to join our SaaS development team. In this role, you will collaborate with the scrum team to scope, plan and build features that drive our application forward. Your ability to design and build beautiful, maintainable, high-quality and high-performing web applications is essential for success in this role. The web applications you will be working on will communicate with Fluke Networks test equipment to provide customers with powerful new capabilities that will have significant impact on their workflow and efficiency.

You are a highly-motivated engineer with experience in delivering high-quality software solutions and leading teams to architect scalable and maintainable production ready systems. You have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of software development and are committed to continuous improvement and learning. CURRENT DEVELOPMENT STACK

* Platform: Amazon EC2 Container Service (ECS), Docker
* Backend: Node.js, Redis, PostgreSQL on Amazon RDS
* Frontend: Angular 2 , Bootstrap, Redux, Sass
* Continuous Integration: Circle CI
* Monitoring: ELK, NewRelic, LogEntries
* B.S/M.S in Computer Science or related field
* 5 or more years of professional experience in web application development
* Strong understanding of software design principles (SOLID, design patterns, etc)
* Experience mentoring team members and/or leading teams
* Very strong JavaScript background
* Creating RESTful web services using Node.js
* Experience with JavaScript-based unit testing tools
* Experience developing with both relational and non-relational databases.
* Strong understanding of browser environments and cross-browser compatibility nuance
* Experience developing responsive mobile browser-based applications
* Exceptional coding, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
* Experience working in an environment that practices agile development
