Job Description

Description:This position is with Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LMMFC) in Dallas, Texas. LMMFC is a major subcontractor to the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control and MBDA Deutschland Joint Venture (JV) team to develop the next generation Integrated Air and Missile Defense System, "TLVS," for the German Bundeswehr.

TLVS is a highly mobile ground-based air and missile defense system for protection against the current and future threat spectrum in the lower tier. TLVS is based on the technology and development results of the trinational MEADS air and missile defense system (US, Germany, Italy). The development of this latest generation air defense system was proven by the system demonstration in 2014. TLVS will be employed by Germany in the context of national and collective defense as well as for the protection of deployed troops, facilities and areas against all kinds of aerial threats including the interception of the latest generation of ballistic missiles. The individual components of the system are mounted on protected vehicles, offering high tactical mobility for the protection of mobile land forces.

This role will perform duties as a security rep for the TLVS program and as an alternate Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) for one or more programs. As the CPSO the candidate will be responsible for all aspects of security to include personal, physical, technical, and classification management utilizing the requirements set forth in Department of Defense policy and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and others as applicable.

Duties also include completing Program Access Requests (PAR), classified meeting support, program management support, and security education. Knowledge of computer and communications security a plus.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 4 years of professional experience; or 2 years of professional experience with a Master's degree.

This position requires applicants to have a final secret security clearance with a background investigation performed within the last six years.

Candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret and up to SCI clearance upon employment.

This position also requires an enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin to meet its business needs.

Desired Skills:

Advanced computer skills, public speaking, presentation, and strong communication skills. Working knowledge or proficient in the use of JPAS, SIMS, and security clearances.

Understanding knowledge of previous JAFAN Series Manuals and the current DoD 5205 Manuals, NISPOM, and NISPOM Overprint.

The ability to articulate and present intelligent, decisive and risk-managed security recommendations, based on limited and or conflicting information, is also essential, as is the ability to thrive and build relationships both within the corporation, organization, and externally with our government customers and industry partners.

Strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal

relations, and analytical skills are required.

Candidate will be required to apply business-minded and risk-managed solutions to DoD security issues and business challenges, and be able to communicate observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners.

Candidate must have a proven track record of timely program and organizational task deliverables.
