6/28 - From manager: : Per manager, Unfortunately, I am not seeing any candidates worthy of an interview at this stage. The majority of these candidates are SAP consultants, who also did some testing. My preference is to have candidates with strong testing background, primarily on the manual side not the automated testing side.

We need 2 professional testers to support Global Test Lead in in designing test cases based on functional specifications, business requirements and other documentation. Performing Test planning and prioritization processes. Collaborating with the development and functional teams to solidify the testing scope as well as providing comprehensive details to facilitate timely resolution of defects

Must have:

* SAP Testing Experience in a global environment
* Solid background in testing.
* Ability to review and Identify test defects
* Good track record in designing test scripts
* have certifications

SAP and IT Experience

* A strong attitude to learn and understand the Program Mercury solution
* Experience working on a global SAP implementation project and with cross functional
* A minimum of two years' experience in testing SAP
* Knowledge of SAP FI/CO, CRM, SD, SRM and related modules is preferred
* Experience in testing interfaces

Testing Knowledge

* Experience with formal testing phases (i.e. functional, integration, end-to-end, regression)
* Experience in designing test cases based on functional specifications, business requirements and other documentation
* Experience in mapping test cases to appropriate requirements
* Experience in test planning and prioritization processes
* Experience in collaborating with the development and functional teams to solidify the testing scope as well as providing comprehensive details to facilitate timely resolution of defects
* Experience in executing tests and preparing appropriate documentation to support the test results
* Experience in collaborating with Test Automation Developers and Performance testers to facilitate robust automated scripts
* Experience in presenting testing results and demonstrating issues encountered
* Experience in identifying appropriate data requirements for smooth execution of test cases
* Experience in designing test cases
* Knowledge and experience in using test parameters in test scripts would be ideal



ALM Knowledge

* Good knowledge and experience in working with ALM's modules (i.e. Requirements, Test Plan, Test Lab and Defects)
* Experience in linking test cases to requirements
* Knowledge of ALM's special functionality (e.g. test configuration, call to test, test parameters) is preferred
* Requirements Management
* Experience in eliciting project requirements from business and technical stakeholders
* Partnering with technical teams to gain a better understanding of the solution

Communication

* Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels
* Ability to communicate key decisions and corresponding impacts to team members
* Overall
* Curious with a skeptical mindset that drives the need to exercise due diligence in validating system behavior
* Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
* Strong aptitude to understand the business processes
* Willing to ask appropriate questions to understand the solution, scope and identify possible gaps, opportunities and challenges

Experience/Required Skills: To qualify, candidates must have:

* approximately 4-6 years of Information Technology (IT) experience, including dedicated testing
* ability to write and execute test plans and scripts
* excellent knowledge of various testing practices, including unit/string testing, system/functional testing, integration testing, performance/stress testing, user acceptance testing, and automated tools
* strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, organizational, and project management skills
* one or more certificates to supplement formal education
* proficiency in approximately 20 QA-oriented disciplines or skill sets

Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
