POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Salesforce Solution Architect and Developer (SSSAD) will leverage strong knowledge and experience on the Salesforce platform to perform hands-on technical implementations, delivering highly functional solutions developed on the Salesforce Sales, Service, Community, and Marketing Clouds. The SSSAD will build knowledge of the Trust Accounting and overall Custody business to ensure that the overall Salesforce-centric solution incorporates the proper levels of data processing and integration workflow. The SSSAD will support the current team in building a cohesive, streamlined and quality solution by taking a leading role in the design, implementation, deployment and documentation of critical workflows that leverage the Salesforce platform. With a focus on custom development, the SSSAD will implement solutions to business challenges, integrate disparate systems, and make technical recommendations and present options that support organizational needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Serve as Subject Matter Expert for solution architecture that will include configuration, development, integration and customization of complex environments
* Serve as technical lead on projects to design, develop, test, document, and deploy robust software solutions on the Force.com platform
* Take a lead role in architectural design and review of our Salesforce implementation
* Build a deep understanding of business processes and principles to ensure a proper Solutions Architecture is envisaged and implemented
* Communicate Salesforce strategy and architecture to senior leadership
* Strong understanding of Salesforce Programming and Administration (Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, Web Services, Reporting, Page Layouts, and Workflows)
* Keep up to date on new Salesforce releases for the Force.com platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Integration Cloud, and Heroku
* Develop modern reactive web interfaces using the Lightning Platform
* Mentor others in Salesforce development technologies, tools and processes
* Provide level three technical support for the Salesforce platform
* Create Test Classes to perform unit testing to detect defects and regression test
* Participate in areas such as web security, REST/SOAP APIs and system monitoring concepts
* Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and testing
* Other tasks and duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
* 3+ years of experience in Salesforce Force.com Development required
* 10+ years of Solution Architecture and/or Development is preferred
* Project management skills necessary to serve as a team lead on large projects
* Experience communicating with senior management both to gather requirements and to explain solution designs
* Enterprise system integration background with Web Services and ETL
* Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTTP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
* Experience with reactive web development frameworks such as Salesforce Lightning, Angular, React, and Vue
* Solid knowledge of SQL and understanding of relational databases
* Can prioritize, multi-task and complete tasks within timelines
* Excellent analysis and problem-solving abilities
* Have a passion for quality and writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well
* Professional track record of superb interpersonal and communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

* Platform Developer I & Platform Developer II certifications
* Prior work experience in the financial services industry
* Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology
* Experience developing reactive web applications in frameworks such as Lightning, Angular, or React
* Experience developing in an enterprise environment such as source code control, continuous deployment, release management
* Experience with other object-oriented development tools such as C#/.Net and Java

* Infrequent travel; may need own transportation from time to time
* Ability to work occasional overtime
