Overview

We are looking for a candidate who is truly passionate about quality. Someone who will elevate our product to a level of excellence through both automated and manual testing. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills as collaboration with product manager and the engineering team is paramount. Currently developing a QA team and looking for a person who will set the foundation forth for a strong QA base.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

* Spearhead our QA initiative through solid foundation.
* Improve the quality of our site through both automated and manual testing.
* Broad knowledge of automation frameworks and testing tools such as Selenium and Cucumber
* Pioneer a suite of automated smoke/BDD tests which will provide coverage for various parts of our site such as checkout, PDP and homepage
* Work closely with product manager and engineers to develop test plans to ensure proper coverage
* Strong knowledge creating automated tests for PHP and Javascript applications
* Manually test new features, existing features and bug fixes and automate when possible.
* Ensure deliverables are operational across platforms and browsers

Nice to have:

* Experience working in the ecommerce industry
* Knowledge testing API endpoints

Qualifications

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree in Computer Science preferred
* Minimum 10+ years of related work experience
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to interact with a broad variety of colleagues and clients, internal and external
* Self-motivated, strategic, enthusiastic and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively
