Job Description

Principal Job Responsibilities:

Migrate current internal applications to upgraded platforms as needed. Analyze new projects to identify ROI for ADI and compare against other project options. Develop and maintain software applications / services (manufacturing based) using ASP.Net, C#, CSS and HTML (application development activities includes analysis, design, debugging, coding, testing and deployment). Provide support for legacy Manufacturing applications in following O/S's: Windows and OpenVMS. Investigate and troubleshoot application and system issues and compile technical reports containing causes and solutions. Design, build, and maintain extract-transformation-load (ETL) processes to collect manufacturing data. Design, create, modify, test and deploy database objects (tables, stored procedures, functions, views, indexes, DB links, etc.) in relational databases. Evaluate and improve performance of existing database applications. Construct Cloud based solutions as counterpart to existing internal applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher (or foreign educational equivalent) in Computer Science or relevant discipline such as Computer Information Systems, plus two years of experience involving: developing and maintaining software applications / services (preferably manufacturing based) using ASP.Net, C#, CSS and HTML (application development activities should include analysis, design, debugging, coding, testing and deployment); analyzing, diagnosing and resolving errors within Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server based manufacturing reporting applications; writing scripts and queries using Windows Batch Script, QlikView and PROMIS; managing communication among software vendors, cross functional teams and management; providing support for legacy manufacturing applications in following O/S's: Windows and OpenVMS; writing technical documentation of application software design; identifying, analyzing, and documenting application user requirements and business processes; designing solutions; and investigating and troubleshooting application and system issues and compile technical reports containing causes and solutions.

For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
