As Senior Principal Infrastructure Engineer you will proactively and hands-on technically manage our divers platforms, and lead the automation efforts in driving & developing effective solutions. In this complex environment, you will bring broad technical experience in areas beyond DevOps, including High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Public Cloud, Private Cloud and Security.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Work with NIBR Scientific Application Development Teams and evolving requirements to lead development of effective technical solutions in building an effective Containerization Platform
* Lead the RCP Engineering teams in the planning, design and implementation of technical solutions for migration from VMware to Containerization / Docker platform
* Act as technical liaison and collaborator with other Novartis organizations and with external collaborators or vendors
* Manage existing Infrastructure Platforms, improve performance and build new ones
* Develop DevOps strategy, along with implementation and/or integration of Version Control, build systems, deployment, Repository Systems, Infrastructure Automation, Containerization along with administration and support
* Manage technical aspects of end-to-end DevOps release cycle for applications
* Implement, maintain, and improve release lifecycle
* Be responsible for CI/CD implementation/management using SCM tools
* Serve as a subject matter expert to understand project needs, gather & document requirements and build/develop optimal solutions within specified timelines
* Design, architect, implement & manage next generation system architecture and automation solutions using DevOps strategy and tools
* Evangelist for DevOps culture & strategy within RCP
