Job Description

Description:Support the Lockheed Martin Data, Voice and Video for the South West Region in Palmdale, CA. Primary support will serve Lockheed Martin Aeronautics campuses, with some travel required. Apply Information Technology (IT) principles, procedures and techniques to complete, network system analysis, operations and maintenance in a multi-vendor, multi-protocol LAN/MAN/WAN environment. Support multiple LAN infrastructures including the Lockheed Martin network, Advance Development Program specific networks including VoIP (voice over internet protocol) and extranet environments. Operational support and analysis of network performance including support of network optimization appliances, wireless access points and controllers, firewalls and DNS/DHCP infrastructure configuration activities. Implementation of networks to include installing and moving of equipment weighing up to 50lbs. Project management assignments including network design and coordination of teams and implementation of project from start to finish.

This facility requires US citizenship.

This position requires Top Secret Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

* Possess active DoD Top Secret clearance.
* Must possess a cybersecurity certification Security+ or CISSP prior to start date.
* Hands on experience with Juniper firewalls, switches and routers.
* Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting TCP/IP networks
* Ability to create and present work orders for project summary and scope of work
* Knowledge of MS Office suites including Visio drawing application
* Demonstrated experience monitoring and supporting of network performance.
* Experience with Cisco or Juniper LAN/MAN/WAN environments
* Hands on experience with Cisco switches.
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Ability to lift 35lbs

Desired Skills:

* Professional certifications: CCNA, CISSP, CCNP
* Experience with Juniper firewalls, switches and routers
* Technical expertise in VoIP implementation
* Experience with General Dynamics Taclane Encryptors.
* Experience with Spectrum monitoring tool.
* Experience with designing network physical infrastructures to include copper and fiber cable.
* Knowledge of Service Now or trouble ticketing systems
* Ability to lift 50lbs
