As a key member of the Casualty Group you will have the opportunity to create user-friendly applications or business workflows to meet the business needs and work with multiple teams on system integration. The Web Developer will be primarily responsible for front end application development and web design in support of various applications within the Casualty Group. TMHCC name: Senior Web Developer

Performance Objectives

* Design, develop and implement web applications using Angular 4+, MVC, CSS, C#, JavaScript and HTML, C# and ASP.NET
* Provide efficient application support to the business/underwriters
* Produce quality code and execute your own user, integration and unit testing
* Provide an on-time project delivery in the business pipeline
* Effectively test, debug, troubleshoot, maintain and enhance existing application platforms with the latest technology standards
* Create functional and technical design specifications and document procedures and application code.
* Within the first 45 days, familiarize yourself with TMHCC's policies and procedures as well as Casualty Group's policies and procedures.
* An estimated 40% of the time will be spent on front end development, 50% will be spent working on application support and the remaining 10% on testing.

Qualifications:

* The successful candidate ideally will have a minimum of five years of relevant and progressive web development experience
* Minimum five years of work experience in eCommerce/Web Content Development utilizing:
* AngularJS 4+, JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript
* .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Framework 4+
* C#
* WebAPI, WCF/Windows Communication Foundation
* SQL Server 2012, 2016
* Stored Procedures/T-SQL
* IIS/Internet Information Services
* XML, HTML, DHTML, XMLHTTP
* JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, LINQ
* Entity Framework/Generics
* SOA/Service Oriented Architecture
* OOP/OOM/OOD / Object Oriented Programming/Object Oriented Modeling/Object Oriented Design
* CSS/Cascading Style Sheet/Skins/Themes


* Exposure to middle tier and backend development and needs to have strong knowledge of OOP design principles and patterns.
* Work experience and technical knowledge with graphic design and web page creation
* Work experience digitally optimizing images and other materials for web presentation
* Work experience with eCommerce sites
* Experience with website documentation, including procedures and application code
* Flexibility and a willingness to learn
* Sound analytical skills, as well as strong decision-making and problem-solving aptitude
* Optimization of work processes. Knows the most effective and efficient methods to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
* Educational requirements: the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience
