We have a small, dedicated Engineering team with one of the highest ratios of users to engineers in the industry, making every member of the team critical to our success. We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead our content consumption engineering team. The team is responsible for Tinder content consumption experience by providing rich and relevant contents under right context.

As a Senior Engineering Manager on the Discovery team, you will:

* Lead teams of iOS and Android engineers to build and shape the best experience for Tinder users with rich content consumption experience
* Define and own the objectives and key metrics for your team, and devise a development strategy and roadmap
* Collaborate with many cross-functional teams (product, design, backend, analytics) to execute on that roadmap, and deliver it with high quality in a timely manner
* Lead and mentor team members and managers to reach their full potential
* Recruit and build a world-class mobile engineering team

We're looking for:

* 7+ years of iOS or Android engineering experience
* 5+ years of technical leadership experience
* Experience managing managers or leads
* Led a team to ship mobile apps at scale
* Passionate about mobile app development in a collaborative setting
* Wisdom to know when and how to make technical trade offs
* Someone who is not afraid to make critical decisions and has a bias towards action
* Ability to inspire and motivate the team to go above and beyond
* Deep knowledge of mobile architecture patterns (e.g. MVVM, Clean)
