Duck Creek Technologies LLC seeks a Senior Manager - Solution Architecture based out of Rosemont, IL. This position involves travel up to 20% of the time. Additionally, in the future, the base job location may change based upon business demands, but, as noted above, the position is currently based out of Rosemont, IL and telecommuting is not permitted. S/he will design and develop cost effective solutions that meet functional, technical, and performance requirements using technologies like Microsoft .NET, WCF, Web APIs, Enterprise Library Design Patterns, Windows services, HTML/CSS, OpenXML, AJAX, and Telerik Rapid development controls. S/he will develop application architecture as new requirements arise. S/he will define third party integrations using technologies like WCF, SOAP, REST, Webservices, FTP, XML transformations, etc. S/he will provide technical leadership on client engagement, including serving as a resource to the project team and the client by evaluating and proposing technical alternatives for resolving business and technology issues. S/he will define the architecture using technologies like Microsoft .NET, WCF, Web APIs, Enterprise Library Design Patterns, Windows services, HTML / CSS, OpenXML, AJAX and Telerik Rapid development controls. S/he will stay current on the latest technologies used in Duck Creek solutions, including REST APIs and Mobile applications, as well as all relevant technology developments, and seek opportunities to deploy new technologies that benefit the client. S/he will implement the Duck Creek strategy of cloud computing and SaaS offering across the P&C industry. S/he will create architecture, scope, definition, construction, and execution of projects as needed. S/he will create comprehensive estimates and project plans for prospective customers. Lastly, s/he will build detail implementation plans identifying necessary core component customizations.

Requirements:

The position of Senior Manager - Solution Architecture requires a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a closely-related Computer/IT field. The applicant must have 12 years of progressively-responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related IT/computer engineering position. Additionally, the applicant must have the following number of years of professional experience with each of the following: (1) 6 years: Project delivery and management experience in the P&C industry; (2) 6 years: Leading implementation projects in Microsoft technologies, SQL, and ASP; (3) 8 years: Software development life cycle and methodology; (4) 4 years: Programming in C #, VB, Javascript; (5) 4 years: Microsoft .Net, Asp.net, HTML, XML, XSL, Integration Platform(Biztalk), Webservices WCF, RDBMS, SQL Server Design Patterns, OOPs concepts, software engineering, Microsoft Enterprise Library.
