Job Description

The CDO Privacy team within Amazon's Information Security organization is responsible for delivering privacy solution for protecting Amazon.com customer's trust. We partner across Amazon's Consumer and Digital business units to build, monitor, and protect a secure environment for the Amazon business, software, and data. This leadership role will help create the best privacy experiences for our customers, driving programs from defining strategy and requirements all the way through delivery and subsequent operation.

You will be a part of the larger technical and product leadership community at Amazon. This community is the backbone of the company, plays a critical role in the broad business planning, and you will be working closely with senior executives to develop business targets and resource requirements. You will use your influence on our long-term technical and business strategy, helps us hire a talented team and ultimately enable us to deliver innovative new solutions rapidly.

This position within the Information Security team represents a rare opportunity to influence the relationship between Amazon.com and all its customers. You will help shape the technology, product, and the business in terms of Privacy and Information Security. A successful candidate will bring deep technical and software expertise, strong business acumen and judgment. You will use your ability to define visionary, ground breaking products, hire and lead teams, and demonstrate an ability to work within a fast-moving environment to rapidly deliver services that have broad business impact.

Qualified candidates have experience defining projects and features, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets; as well as analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection and communicating results throughout the organization.
