Security is the #1 concern of customers moving to the cloud. AWS Cryptography is dedicated to providing the cryptographic security and assurances our customers need. We enable customers to confidently move sensitive workloads to the cloud where they can benefit from strong security controls that help meet internal and external compliance requirements. AWS Key Management Service and AWS CloudHSM provide encryption and key management services, while AWS Certificate Manager handles the complexity of provisioning, deploying, and managing certificates.

AWS Cryptographic Design and Analysis Group is the primary resource for designing cryptographic protocols and algorithms and their use within AWS. We are a team of cryptographers and software developers that in addition to our internal responsibilities contribute to open source software development, international standards organizations, and the cryptography research community.

We are looking for an experienced leader in cryptography to join us to design and develop the most secure services in AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a team of cryptographers to design and analyze cryptographic solutions, and software development engineers to build cryptographic libraries
* Manage membership in standards organizations, and AWS's participation in these standards
* Represent AWS in international standards
* Own the complete software development lifecycle for cryptographic libraries for cloud services.
* Manage cross team relationships to ensure application libraries throughout AWS use vended cryptographic libraries
