What You'll Do

* Collaborate with one of our largest Financial Services clients to build and scale its business and consumer applications
* Work with requirements
* Develop and re-factor code
* Review code
* Write regularly unit and integration tests
* Fix bugs
* Prepare documentation

What You Have

* Strong Java software development experience with a focus on Java 8 & 9
* Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures and excellent CS background in general
* Experience with NoSQL databases - ideally with MongoDB
* Experience implementing REST APIs - ideally with JAX-RS
* Experience with Reactive Programming - ideally with RxJava
* Experience implementing unit tests

Nice to have

* Experience developing applications in FinTech or established financial institutions
* Experience with microservice architectures
* Experience developing systems that can scale to large amounts of data
* Deep understanding of Agile Scrum
* Ability to collaborate with a global team
