Currently, we are looking for an experienced Senior Java (knowledge of Big Data technologies and/or GO language) developer for our Seattle, WA office to make the team even stronger.

What You'll Do

* Develop, modify, and/or test software needed for various projects: write server-side code for web-based applications while implementing solutions for information retrieval, distributed computing, and large-scale software systems
* Development, testing, and Production launch
* Restructuring data pipelines to make them distributed (Big Data)
* Organize data migration

What You Have

* 4+ years of experience in Java development
* Object-oriented programming
* Microservices experience, API design and SQL
* Bachelor's degree or higher (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
* Knowledge of Big data technologies such as Hadoop/Hive/Spark or related
* Experience with GO language or willingness to learn it
* Strong attention to details and great communication skills
* Excellent English communication skills & experience in client-facing communications
* Self-management and strong prioritization skills
* Capability to work in agile environment without direct supervision

Nice to have

* Familiarity with Kubernetes
* Experience with cloud billing
* Cloud experience is a plus
