Overview

Selective is seeking a senior engineer responsible for the design, delivery and support of our collaboration environment. Will be a key technical leader to help drive our strategy to "Deliver any information, on any device, anywhere". With a strong customer-oriented mindset, responsible for managing key aspects of our office productivity suite and collaboration environments across the enterprise. Ensure successful evaluation, design, deployment, adoption, road mapping, maintenance and support for our collaboration environments across the enterprise as well as our Office 365 environment.

Responsibilities

* Assist in the engineering, implementation and maintaining of our Office 365 enterprise environment• Assist in the evaluation, designs, implementation and maintenance collaboration platforms to be leveraged across the enterprise.• Assist the Audio Visual team with developing enterprise wide conference room capabilities and standards.• Create and maintain project upgrade plans, schedules and assist in managing roll outs, based on defined area of responsibilities• Serves as point of escalation from tier two technical support and provides the highest level of internal expertise in area of responsibility prior to vendor escalation. Partner closely with vendors to solve complex technical problems and issues.• Lead on installation and upgrades of production hardware and software• Lead and participate in product evaluations POC's, including but not limited to, planning, engineering, installation, testing, and technical support.• Uses experience and process management skills to identify and implement continuous improvement activities throughout Client Services and our enterprise.• Acts as mentor to junior members in the Client Services area. Act as lead in the absence of the team manager when appropriate• Partners with Enterprise Architecture to help in assessing new technologies and solutions that may be leveraged in our enterprise environment.

Qualifications

* Provide subject matter expertise to organization within area of discipline.• Strong working knowledge and experience with enterprise collaboration tools and technologies.• Knowledge of audio and video conferencing.• Knowledge of conference room technologies.• Strong working knowledge of Office 365 enterprise applications.• The ability to plan, control and manage projects.o Experience leading projects, roll outs and deployments of enterprise level software. • 3-5 years' experience with collaboration technologies and solutions.• Experience with Office 365 platform support and management.• Experience providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting across enterprise collaboration environments, end user computing lifecycle including Microsoft desktop OS, desktop computing environment and productivity suites.• Platform specific certification preferred, MCSA/MCSE Office 365, CCNA/CCNP Collaboration, or relevant experience with industry collaboration technologies.• College degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred.
