Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Information Analyst to be responsible for leading the development of reporting and analytics solutions for Answer Financial by gathering business needs, documenting requirements, identifying appropriate data sources, developing reports and analysis, and delivering them to customers. This position is also responsible for interpreting the data in the reports and analysis developed to help customers in gaining insight about their areas of accountability and in making strategic decisions. Qualifications: Work with key stakeholders to define business requirements and trends to enable informed business decisions and service level improvements. Define key performance indicators (KPI), and deliver BI solutions. Partner with the team to develop and deliver solutions. Work with business and development teams to design, and document dashboards, alerts, and reports. Drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources. Recommend and enforce Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence standards, best practices and architecture for enterprise data warehouse, data marts and analytical applications systems. Identify and provide input to new technology opportunities that will have an impact on the Enterprise wide BI systems. Apply your findings to what you build. Rapidly deliver on concepts through prototypes that can be presented for feedback. Develop training materials. Educate and train users, including executives, to transform data into action oriented information and help others be successful stewards of our tools. Enable everyone at Answer Financial to be an analyst through the Self-Service BI model. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Skills Required: Bachelor ' s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Management or specialized training/certification. Or equivalent work experience. 6+ years of relevant experience. Delivering business intelligence solutions. Strong knowledge of data access for all types of data, including SQL. Demonstrable skills building business intelligence and advanced analytics solutions. Working in an Agile development environment. Research product and technical data in order to recommend products, technologies, and processes for ongoing projects. Azure SQL DW and Azure SQL Database knowledge is desired. Able to design, build, maintain & deploy complex reports in Tableau. Expertise in Data Visualization including effective communication, appropriate chart types, and best practices. Proven ability to deliver business intelligence solutions in a fast-paced environment. Strong background in data relationships, modeling, semantic layer and mining.
