The purpose of the position within Mitel's Clearspan division, is to work with customers to train, educate and gather data to configure and implement a customer-focused and enterprise-wide telecommunications solution. The position will be responsible for data gathering, configuration technical assessments and business process definition to determine the best technical solution to meet

the customer's requirements.

The position will not have budgeting or supervisory responsibilities.

Business related travel required < 5% of time.

Job Responsibilities

* Conduct data gathering workshops to determine application configurations for features and functions and determine how the system will be populated with

collected data.
* Provide consultation for system configuration.
* Provide general database implementation, including, setup and running database scripts.
* Prepare and provide administrator and End User training.
* Prepare and equip network servers to allow them to provide (new) services to users.
* Provide client-based feedback to engineering staff and Product Managers regarding features and functionality
* Provide post cutover help desk support.
* Strong time management, problem solving, prioritization and planning skills.
* Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
* Ability to work in a dynamic and demanding environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Computer Science or equivalent field from an accredited college or Technical School. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience in addition to minimum experience requirement.
* Five (5) years of experience in telecommunication industry.
* Five (5) years of experience in a customer facing role.
* Six (6) years of experience with PBX provisioning / product installation.
* Six (6) or more months of experience with IP, PBX, Voice Mail and Call Center Applications.
* Thorough knowledge of telecommunications systems and operations.
* Good understanding of VoIP and network protocols such as Internet Protocol (IP) and their implementation.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products with a heavy emphasis on Excel.
* Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
* Experience with BroadSoft PBX software a plus.
