The Senior Hyperion Developer will be responsible for the implementation and build-out of Hyperion/Oracle PBCS with ongoing responsibilities to support, strengthen, and enhance Inovalon's Finance and Accounting applications. The primary system of responsibility is Hyperion but the incumbent will also support integration with Oracle ERP/HCM and maintain a working relationship with the ERP/HCM and other integration system teams. This position will report into the Finance organization and would work closely with business partners such as but not limited to Accounting, Tax, FP&A, and Procurement.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of Hyperion following internal control guidelines and the Inovalon's SDLC;
* Design, develop, implement and support financial planning and reporting solutions using Oracle PBCS as well as providing technical and functional guidance, assistance and support to Inovalon staff using this product and service
* Ensure our system configuration adheres to leading best practices, business operations requirements, and organizational values;
* Participate in system optimization, including requirements gathering and documentation, functional design documentation, configuration setup, testing, and training;
* Prepare business and technical design documentation for enhancement requests and process system enhancement requests within sprint cycles;
* Perform unit, system and interface testing associated with the Oracle PBCS product and corresponding system interface areas, as well as provide guidance and assistance to Inovalon staff to support these testing activities;
* Ensure timely integration of new acquisitions into the Hyperion framework;
* Reviews, performs, and leads software upgrade releases;
* Proactively identify, document, and communicate potential problems and issues, including opportunities for improvement, to leadership team members as appropriate;
* Identify alternatives and recommend/implement solutions as appropriate;
* Perform routine maintenance and daily systems support, as well as ongoing system performance tuning, and user management; and
* Troubleshoot application and functional business issues and assist in resolving end user questions in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems;
* Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Hyperion Planning Applications;
* Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (PBCS) and Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) with specific emphasis on:
* Business rules and calculations
* EPM Automate - with error handling
* Power shell scripting
* High-volume integrations, data loads, and Smart Push
* Smart View Adhoc
* Webforms
* FR reporting (including hands-on experience with creating and maintaining HFR)
* Technical awareness of trends and issues in the financial software marketplace;
* Familiarity with the software development lifecycle using agile and/or waterfall methodology; and
* Strong communication skills and ability to translate requirements into design documents.
