ThirdLove is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who will be responsible for helping to scale a fast growing multi-channel brand and technology platform across web and mobile web. In this role, your mission is to create purposeful, on-brand eCommerce experiences which drive new customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. As a senior engineer, you enjoy mentoring more junior members of the team and taking on leadership responsibilities within a Scrum team.

ThirdLove has a very unique stack. We are hosted on the Shopify platform, but maintain several NodeJS/Express projects outside of the Shopify ecosystem to augment our customer experience and sales funnels. We use a variety of modern JavaScript technologies including React. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be hooking up Back End development to the Front End experience.

THE JOB

* Design and code new features. Testing, bug fixing, technical debt fixing
* Suggest new features or technical improvements that could be implemented in the system
* Provide mentorship and leadership within Scrum team
* Peer code review
* Software development using agile methodologies
* Participate in engineering training meetings and tech talks

THE QUALIFICATIONS

* 4-6 years of relevant industry experience
* Strong algorithms, data structures and coding background
* Strong knowledge in design patterns and architecture
* Experience with software engineering best practices
* Experience with high availability and auto-scalable projects
* Familiarity with continuous integrations and continuous deployment
* Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you own your part of the product
* Nice to have - experience with modern JavaScript framework
