The Senior Financial Systems Reporting Analyst will be responsible for the implementation and build-out of financial system reporting application (OTBI) with ongoing responsibilities to support, strengthen, and enhance Inovalon's Finance and Accounting applications reporting. The primary system of responsibility is focused on Oracle Cloud ERP and PPM but also maintaining a working relationship with HCM and other integration system teams. This position will report into the Finance organization and would work closely with business partners such as but not limited to Accounting, Tax, FP&A, PMO, and Procurement.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of Oracle Financials ERP Reporting (OTBI) following internal control guidelines and the Inovalon's SDLC;
* Manage and organize financial, procurement, and project reporting catalogs;
* Participate in system upgrades, including requirements gathering and documentation, functional design documentation, configuration setup, testing, and training;
* Prepare business and technical design documentation for enhancement requests and process system enhancement requests within sprint cycles;
* Ensure timely integration of new acquisitions into the ERP framework;
* Reviews, performs, and leads software upgrade releases;
* Proactively identify, document, and communicate potential problems and issues, including opportunities for improvement, to leadership team members as appropriate;
* Identify alternatives and recommend/implement solutions as appropriate;
* Perform routine maintenance and daily systems support, as well as ongoing system performance tuning, and user management; and
* Troubleshoot application and functional business issues and assist in resolving end user questions in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems;
* Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Oracle Financial Applications;
* In-depth understanding and hands on experience with Oracle tools (Financial Reporting Studio, Smartview, and OTBI);
* In-depth understanding and hands on experience with Oracle accounting and financial software (GL A/P, Fixed Assets, Costing, A/R, Projects);
* Ability to define and design business processes and reporting within critical business applications;
* Technical awareness of trends and issues in the financial software marketplace;
* Familiarity with the software development lifecycle using agile and/or waterfall methodology; and
* Strong communication skills and ability to translate requirements into design documents.
