Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a highly motivated, experienced engineering manager to join our entitlements platform team and play a key role in enabling Autodesk to make its business model transformation. As the ideal candidate, you've done this before. You have led teams to the delivery of modern cloud services and have demonstrated deep, hands on experience in the cloud. You should have expert knowledge in all the modern cloud technologies and are in tune with industry trends. You should be comfortable in an agile environment and know how to build a highly effect team. Most of all, you can inspire a team to do great things.

Responsibilities

* Manage a team of developers and software architects responsible for Autodesk's entitlements and payments platform
* Own your team's technical strategy and roadmap in close collaboration with other engineering and product managers
* Work with your team to help understand requirements, evaluate new features and architecture and help drive decisions
* Build collaborative partnerships with software architects, technical leads and key individuals within other functional organizations
* Build and foster a high-performance culture, mentor team members and provide your team with the tools and motivation to make things happen

Minimum Qualifications

* Previously managed teams of engineers with ownership of high scale, production systems * Proven ability to manage and resolve complex and ambiguous issues
* Strong experience with key technologies and tools such as Java, Micro Services, RabbitMQ, Zookeeper, Docker, MySQL, NoSQL, Jenkins and Amazon Web Services
* Expert experience with Scrum and agile development processes and methodologies
* Excellent communication and written skills
* BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
