Job Description:

Here at CA Technologies-A Broadcom Company, you will be working in the Mainframe division. Our teams are focused on developing modern data privacy and compliance solutions to the data centric users on the Mainframe. Bringing these solutions to the market involves working closely with product management and architects to create highly complex, sophisticated and quality software that span several teams. We believe radically transforming the way software is built, delivered and monitored is exciting stuff, and we're looking for developers who want to join the fun.

What you will be doing in a typical week:

* Applying your past experience to inform the product roadmap;
* Experimenting with new technologies that improve our software;
* Automate software build and release processes utilizing GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory and Agile Central with scripting;
* Administer and automate source control in GitHub and issue tracking in Agile Central to support rapid and reliable delivery of software releases;
* Work closely with Development teams to improve tool chain used and the product build by fully understanding and documenting the product build in order to set standards, simplify and fully express dependencies;
* Maintain and enhance the ecosystem that constitutes the build and release environment;
* Develop tools to monitor and troubleshoot the DevOps tools issues found in development environments;
* Coordinate release and deployment activities with cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

At the end of the day, the main things we're searching for are talent and passion. However, experience in one or more of these areas could make you a great addition to our team:

* At least 5+ years of experience SDLC, CI/CD tools, configuration & release management, deployments and troubleshooting
* Experience with Object Oriented programming language is highly desired;
* Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML;
* Strong experience with Linux systems and shell scripting;
* Thorough knowledge of Git and code branching/merging strategies for multiple active release streams for the same product;
* Experience in build and release automation using Jenkins or similar tools and related plug-ins;
* Ability to utilize Confluence and Jira or similar tools for project usually executed using Agile methodology;
* Expertise in build and release tools such as Maven, Ant, Gradle;
* Experience in Agile Software Development;
* Experience in SAFe is a plus;
