What you'll be doing…

As the Senior Technical Program Manager you will be responsible for the design, delivery and support of strategic programs from a technology perspective. This role is ideal for an experienced technical leader with exemplary communication skills, expertise working cross-departmentally and the ability to influence and lead others to build scalable systems and processes.

Some of the things you'll be doing include …

* Build strong relationships with company leaders and stakeholder groups by establishing a thorough understanding of their business processes and challenges.
* Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities.
* Serve as subject matter expert and point of escalation for junior members of the team; provide mentorship and technical guidance.
* Demonstrate full ownership and complete autonomy to lead complex programs through the complete program lifecycle in an integrated and aligned manner: Translate strategic business priorities into clear and concise business and functional requirement documents, operational plans, and roadmaps; identify and schedule resources needed for project implementation; participate in testing, implementation, and escalation support of critical systems; define resources and schedules for program implementation; create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning; design and maintain technical and project documentation.
* Build and maintain integrated project schedules that account for internal and external dependencies, differing approaches, and constraints.
* Communicate the progress of programs and projects through clear, concise, and accurate roadmaps, business metrics, presentations, and status updates.
* Track developments in the Tableau business and the software industry, recommend strategic initiatives, and create business cases.

Who you are…

* Experienced. 8+ years of direct or related experience in program management or Agile software delivery experience. 8+ years' experience facilitating solutions between business and technical teams in Technical Program, IT, and/or Project Management. Extensive experience with Agile, Waterfall, and blended approaches. Bachelors' degree in Business, Technology, or applicable field.
* A True Team Player. Understands the importance of building strong working relationships. Team player.
* Cross-Cultural Leadership. Equally comfortable digging into business requirements, as drilling into architecture with development teams.
* Communicator. Effective written and verbal communication
* Performer. Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
