Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Strategy and Analytics, Analytics and Cognitive in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Leveraging the power of analytics, robotics, and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, create and manage large-scale organizational intelligence, and generate insights that catalyze growth and efficiencies. Synthesizing overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Participating in various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for software applications, which may including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Evaluating clients' technology needs, developing customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Identifying and mitigating risks in process and technology for client engagements. Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall SDLCs for the design, development, testing and implementation of data analytics and system transformation solutions for enterprise-level clients. Developing reusable mappings and workflows on Informatica PowerCenter using MS SQL and Oracle SQL Developer to write code. Designing, developing and deploying logical and physical data models using Oracle SQL Server, MS SQL Server and Erwin Solution for different solution architectures. Creating test cases to perform System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and unit testing using HP ALM, MS Visual Studio. Developing source-to-target mappings from database fields in existing and legacy systems to database fields in proposed solutions across different layers, including Pre-Processing, Staging and Production layers. Configuring the Master Data Management (MDM) data model, inbound and outbound integrations and migration components using MS SQL Server and MDM/PIM tools, including Stibo's STEP solution and InRiver. Analyzing client business requirements to create custom data analytics and system transformation solutions and making solution recommendations based on discussions with clients and internal solution architects. Coordinating project activities of onshore and offshore resources for the timely and quality delivery of large-scale project components.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.


* Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have two years of experience with:
* Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall SDLCs for the design, development, testing and implementation of data analytics and system transformation solutions for enterprise-level clients;


* Developing reusable mappings and workflows on Informatica PowerCenter using MS SQL and Oracle SQL Developer to write code;


* Designing, developing and deploying logical and physical data models using Oracle SQL Server, MS SQL Server and Erwin Solution for different solution architectures;

* 80% travel required.
