Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Leveraging analytics, robotics, and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, creating and managing large-scale organizational intelligence, and generating insights that catalyze growth and efficiencies. Synthesizing overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Participating in various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for software applications, which may including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Developing dashboard wireframes and designing requirements based on discussion with an understanding of technical and visual design considerations. Developing and maintaining project deliverables for clients for all phases of the software development lifecycle to substantially build the system functionalities. Creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Researching user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Working across all phases of the SDLC for the design, development and implementation of data analytics solutions for enterprise-level clients. Developing custom reports, dashboards and RPD in OBIEE, implementing data level security, object level security and KPI scorecards in Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), integrating Smart View with OBIEE, and upgrading legacy versions of OBIEE to new versions of OBIEE. Configuring, implementing and customizing OBIA (including versions 7.9.6.x and 11.10.1.1), OOTB mappings, tables, reports and dashboards for OBIA modules. Creating ETL OWB, Informatica and ODI mappings and workflows to support business requirements based on best coding techniques. Designing and developing data validation processes, performing data analysis and creating new Data model by identifying gaps in the existing Systems and rectify data redundancies and anomalies along with streamlining the data flow. Handling "slow-changing" dimensions and working in multidimensional data modeling, including star schemas, snowflakes and normalized and de-normalized models.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.


* Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have two years of experience with:
* Working across all phases of the SDLC for the design, development and implementation of data analytics solutions for enterprise-level clients;


* Developing custom reports, dashboards and RPD in OBIEE, implementing data level security, object level security and KPI scorecards in OBIEE, integrating Smart View with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), and upgrading legacy versions of OBIEE to new versions of OBIEE;


* Configuring, implementing and customizing OBIA (including versions 7.9.6.x and 11.10.1.1), OOTB mappings, tables, reports and dashboards for OBIA modules;


* Creating ETL OWB, Informatica and ODI mappings and workflows to support business requirements based on best coding techniques;


* Designing and developing data validation processes, performing data analysis and creating new Data model by identifying gaps in the existing Systems and rectify data redundancies and anomalies along with streamlining the data flow;


* Handling "slow-changing" dimensions and working in multidimensional data modeling, including star schemas, snowflakes and normalized and de-normalized models.




* 80% travel required.
