What You Do

The consultant shall provide quality assurance (QA) support services for complex

J2EE web-based applications, be able to write and modify SQL Scripts to query database, be able to identify and report data anomalies, and conduct automated script testing exercises. The consultant shall be able to perform standard data exchange practices and shall have experience writing tests scripts that validate how an end-user would expect the system to work.

What We Need to See

* Understanding of complex J2EE web-based applications and standard data exchange practices (e.g. JSON)
* 5+ years of Software Testing experience
* Familiarity with automation frameworks and building test scripts from scratch
* 5+ years of experience developing and executing comprehensive test suites for system software
* Understanding the software development cycle (design, code, source control, quality assurance, test and deployment)
* Experience with relational database products and query tools such as Oracle SQL Developer and basic SQL coding skills
* 5+ years of full-life-cycle testing experience with web and web service applications
* 5+ years of experience doing performance testing
* Experience with automated testing software
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
* Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

What We Would Like to See

* Experience in Agile methodology
* Strong core expertise in ensuring tractability and completeness of test cases to original requirements and use cases
* Experience in understanding architectural diagrams, use cases and business requirements and how to transform them into reusable test cases
* Experience with HP Unified Functional Testing
