Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Customer & Marketing, Advertising, Marketing & Commerce in San Francisco, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Designing and implementing solutions that engage and activate customers through the customer journey. Synthesizing overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Participating in various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for software applications, which may including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Evaluating clients' technology needs, developing customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Performing requirements gathering, knowledge transfers and defining the solution architecture of portal, identity management, content management and single sign-on components. Designing, configuring and setting up production, development and test environments with Apache Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) webserver, Weblogic app server, Weblogic Portal server and Oracle Universal Content Management (UCM). Performing testing and tuning using JRockit Mission Control and Apache Jmeter to discover and fix memory leaks and process bottlenecks to improve overall performance. Designing and developing JSR168 compliant portal-based web applications and interfacing with external systems Art Technology Group (ATG), Google Search Appliance (GSA) Search, Oracle Database, and Omniture Analytics. Collaborating with Human Resources, Marketing and Digital Communications teams and System Architects to design and develop Continuous Integration Continuous Development, User Experience Journey and Design, Development and Coding Standards. Developing libraries of reusable, scalable and responsive services and components to be used as-is or customized by web applications using Open Services Gateway initiative (OSGi), Sling Models, Sling Event Handling and Scheduling, Sightly, Java and Java Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), HTML Template Language (HTL), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and JQuery.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), IT, CIS, MIS or a related field.


* Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have two years of experience with:
* Performing requirements gathering, knowledge transfers and defining the solution architecture of portal, identity management, content management and single sign-on components;

* 80% travel required.
