What Youll Do

As a Senior Consultant - Systems Analyst, you will do the following:

* Coordinates Configuration Management (CM) activities such as configuration change meetings, change requests analysis, and configuration reviews and audits.
* Coordinates across the organization to proactively identify all configuration items (software and documents) for use by the client including updates/fixes and customizations.
* Coordinates control and access to CM development libraries and repositories. Works with the entire Solution CI team to ensure that updated CI documentation and software code are placed in the appropriate repository locations.
* Works with the Development team to generate Solution version description documentation and release notes/installation/upgrade instructions.
* Supports the CM activities such as configuration change meetings and configuration reviews and audits.
* Creates standardized code, configuration, build and environment management guidelines and processes that are used across all application teams.
* Works with the Development team to successfully build the Solution CI software code into release packages.
* Coordinates and oversees the deployment of Solution CI release packages.
* Works with the Solution CI team Managers to facilitate the analysis and prioritization of CRs.
* Works with the Development Team to analyze the impact of CCRs.
* Works with program managers to determine who to consult in order to obtain an impact assessment and analyzes impact assessments.
* Manages CCRs and monitors their completion.
* Prepares configuration change meeting agendas and records and distributes meeting minutes.
* Supports the use of requirements management, change tracking, and version control tools.
* Meets with the Solution team to understand environment needs and oversee requests made by the team.
* Ensures the Solution team is adhering to the client release standards and processes concerning the deployment process.
* Conducts meetings with the PBGC OIT DBA team to review Solution CI Deployment Guides prior to deployment.
* Conducts coordination meetings with external teams and support staff for Production deployments.

What Were Looking For

* Three (3) years of experience with software management and change control processes.
* Experience with code repositories and processes, including coding check-in, check-out , branching and tagging is mandatory.
* Deep knowledge and understanding of SDLC, Configuration Management and Release Management processes and tools.
* Self starter, quick learner, and team player.

What We'd Like to See

* Working knowledge of Configuration Management toolsets like PVCS, Jenkins, CMDB
