Job Description

Position Summary

Our Global Infrastructure team is looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with experience building, managing and supporting cutting edge cloud applications. The successful candidate should be proficient in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure stacks, build tools and web architectures. The candidate will help build and support applications used by patients in a HIPAA regulated environment. The candidate should be interested in new technologies and be able to learn new applications quickly.

Responsibilities

* Manage the secure, scalable and resilient hosting of numerous applications in a regulated (HIPAA) environment that improves the lives of thousands of people on a daily basis.
* Design and develop infrastructure within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure for various product related cloud applications. Provide best practices regarding development and infrastructure within public clouds.
* Implement monitoring and security controls across various platforms.
* Collaborate closely with the multiple technology and cross-functional groups within the organization.

Education and Experience

* 3+ years demonstrated work experience with AWS (e.g. DynamoDB, ECS, Fargate, ELB, etc) or Azure (Azure web apps, Azure SQL, Active Directory, SSO, etc)
* In-depth knowledge of underlying web and network technologies (e.g. HTTP, SSL, DNS, Load Balancing, etc)
* DevOps infrastructure experience, including Docker, Ansible, CloudFormation, Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Bamboo, Bitbucket), etc.
* Experience implementing caching and data storage in the cloud (including Redis, MongoDB and RabbitMQ)
* A proven awareness of security considerations including key management (e.g. Conjur), access management, permissions auditing, etc
* Excellent communications skills and extensive experience working with technical teams and management
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, System Administration or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* AWS certifications, preferably Solutions, DevOps or SysOps
* Experience with Agile software development
* Experience in supporting secure software platforms in a regulated environment (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR)
* Experience implementing and maintaining a scalable, highly available, active/active environment across regions
* Comfortable supporting Linux (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux) and Windows operating systems
* Experience with security applications that could be used in the cloud (e.g. Alertlogic, Dell Secureworks, etc)
* Experience with big data tools in the cloud (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Warehouse, Databricks, Spark, Google Suite, etc)
