We are currently seeking a Senior Cisco Voice Engineer for our client in the IT-Services domain. Role: Senior Cisco Voice Engineer
Primary Skills: Cisco
Role Description: The Senior Cisco Voice Engineer would need to have at least 3-5 years of experience. For this role, you must have experience with monitoring/management platforms.
As the Cisco Voice Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting the Cisco phone systems related technical incidents and provisioning MACD requests.
The primary area of expertise for this position is Cisco UC (Communications Manager, Unity Connection and voice gateways).
Responsibilities:
* Evaluate, design, develop and maintain data networking, VOIP PBX systems
* Participate in the deployment of new technologies and projects. Mobile Iron and Air-Watch MDM knowledge required
* Management, monitoring and support of Cisco UC solutions including: Communications Manager, Unity Connection, Voice Gateways, Acme Packet SBC, recording System, Telepresence and Videoconference
* Work with a ticketing system, making timely entries and adjustments as required.
* Interact with Service Provider and Carrier for incident resolution and change request
* Act as a third level of escalation on incidents
Desired Capabilities:
* Must possess strong skills and experience across a range of the following: UC Architecture, Acme Packet SBC knowledge, troubleshooting Cisco Voice, Data, and Video Conference Systems.
* Understanding of networking concepts including Basic IP Routing, 802.1q, VLANs and QoS
* Strong customer interaction and communication skills and positive attitude.
* Ongoing knowledge of new devices and technology.
Desired Qualifications:
* CCNA Collaboration is preferred.
* CCNP Collaboration or equivalent skill will be a plus.
* Must have at least 5 year of experience administering, engineering, and debugging Cisco Voice Solutions
* Have experience with current Cisco routing and switching technologies.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
