Peregrine is Elbit Systems of America's (ESA) Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Integrated Fixed Tower (IFT) solution. It delivers a full solution including Fixed Surveillance Tower Units (FSTUs) and Operator Work Stations for the Tucson, Arizona sector. Technologies included in this software development program include:

* Real-Time Video: Working with video compression techniques and automatic video object detections
* Object identification and tracking across multiple sensors
* Real-Time Database Control and Refresh
* Working with enterprise level .NET C# software suite
* Optimization HMI to enhance situational awareness and shorten sensor-to-operator timeWe are seeking Software Engineers who want to be a part of this project in protecting our US borders.

Responsibilities

* Responsibilities:


* Design, implement and test software modules as assigned by team leaders
* Basic integration of software to software and software to hardware
* Assume responsibility for an assigned portion of the software application
* Adhere to defined implementation processes
* Participate in off-site multi-discipline integration activities and demonstrations
* Other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

Applicants must have all of the following to be considered for this position:

* BS in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
* Application .Net Programming: minimum of 3 years since 2015
* Client-Server, multi-threaded, IPC application development
* Comprehensive understanding of C#: minimum 2-3 years
* Must be able to obtain USA clearances for DHS
* This position requires travel not to exceed 20%. USA domestic travel after 6 months. Must be willing and able to travel.
* MUST BE A US CITIZEN
* Highly Desired Job Qualifications:

DHS/BI Clearance ( must be able to be cleared by DHS)

* Application .Net Programming: 5 years since 2010
* Windows OS Debugger: 3 years since 2015
* Proficient with industry standard networking principles including TCP/IP, basic routing/switching, packet analysis, and video streaming(RTSP)
* Experience developing high-availability network-based software services, QOS, bandwidth optimization algorithms.
* Experience developing video processing, codec, or video analytic software/algorithms
