Description

Summary: The Sr. Business Systems Analyst role will gather requirements for design and enhancement of current Anaplan models, in addition to the development of new modules, to support annual and ongoing processes such as, budgeting, forecasting, and key performance indicator (KPI) reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Perform monthly and periodic data loads and validations between multiple systems and Anaplan to support the ongoing administration of Anaplan models.
* Develop, maintain and communicate monthly operating calendar of tactical activities, governing both internal model administration and end user process activities.
* Understand and document business processes and user stories for end-users of Anaplan.
* Assist in maintenance and update of current Anaplan models throughout the year to accommodate changing business requirements.
* Assist in developing long term roadmap and project plans to increase adoption and scale of Anaplan by multiple functions.
* Ensure data integrity and quality for all model reference and transactional data.
* Define and execute robust data governance and processes to ensure consistent data accuracy.
* Maintain strict management of system access, privileges, version control, and overall system integrity.
* Develop and maintain user dashboards within Anaplan and supplementary reporting in Excel.
* Combine internal and external data to create business intelligence dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI or Tableau) for distribution across the organization.
* Remain current with new functionality releases in Anaplan and update current processes and models as appropriate to continuously leverage best practices.
* Provide process and Anaplan system training to end users as required.



Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree or foreign academic equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
* Six (6) years of progressive experience in business intelligence computer systems and tools.
* Industry experience and demonstrated knowledge of financial systems and statistical analysis.
* Industry experience and demonstrated ability to independently and successfully lead complex business intelligence data collection, analysis, and support activities.
* Industry experience with the following skills: (1) Use of statistical methods, math, statistical programs, and statistical tools in the completion of business intelligence activities; (2) Use of key financial metrics, financial modeling, and financial statements; (3) Accounting Close; (4) GAAP/Non GAAP financial reporting; (5) Standard/Variable PL; (6) Variable cost analysis; (7) Overhead planning; (8) Shared service allocation; (9) Headcount planning; (10) General Ledger; (11) Balance Sheet Reporting; and (12) Zero Based Budgeting.
