GENERAL SUMMARY

The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for partnering with business users to understand the operational needs, procedures of the business and consider competitive marketplace information to help find a solution or develop new internal or external products. The Senior Business Analyst is involved in all steps of the development life cycle and represent the Business Systems Team in project meetings, as well as individual meetings with business leaders.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Communicate professionally as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders
* Facilitate requirements gathering workshops with sponsors and stakeholders
* Gather, analyze and document business requirements and transfer knowledge to the product development team
* Build operations infrastructure (business requirements, process maps, workflows)
* Effectively create user stories, case studies, BRDs (Business Requirements Definition), FRDs (Functional Requirements Document), and other artifacts
* Document product and user journeys/flows
* Coordinate and support project status meetings and report results
* Develop comprehensive tools to support implementation (such as checklists, talking points, slides, assessments, reports, and communication plans)
* Develop insights and identify opportunities that will be used to identify improvement opportunities to optimize business or contractual performance
* Support ad hoc analytic requests, providing accurate and timely data, analysis and insightful interpretations
* Ability to evaluate, pilot and/or test new hardware, software and applications
* Draft test plans based on identified business requirements and ensures the test plans are successfully executed
* Assist or coordinate user acceptance testing
* Provide education to end users for all modified and new systems
* Assist and support technical implementations within the Salesforce environment
* Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specification documents; assist in the
* development of user guides and functional specification documents
* Should have basic project management skills such as maintaining schedules and task lists
* Assist and support technical implementations within Salesforce or related environments

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
* 5+ years' experience in a Senior Business Systems Analyst or equivalent role, preferably in Healthcare; 3+ years' experience eliciting, documenting, and converting business needs into technical requirements
* Possess a creative approach to problem-solving
* Experience working within all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle and an Agile driven development environment; comfortable with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
* Strong interpersonal skills, with experience in leading cross functional teams towards finalizing project scope and signoff
* User training on applications and creating user documentation
* Skilled in balancing multiple priorities while achieving milestones and results
* Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ambiguity and rapid change
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding interpersonal skills, and ability to relate positively with individuals at all levels of the organization; strong technical writing skills
* Creative, flexible, and self-motivated with sound judgment; ability to plan and implement
* Salesforce configuration and implementation experience is a plus
* Certifications in one or more of the following disciplines: ITIL, Six Sigma, Project Management, Business Analysis, Application or Infrastructure Design, Salesforce Administration and Support are a plus
