As a Senior Business Analyst you can work with a dynamic team to develop innovated solutions to solve national and global challenges that our customers face in the federal and private space. Work location is remote for this position and as needed Dovel HQ (McLean, VA) and onsite client (Silver Spring, VA).

Responsibilities:

* Demonstrated experience with eliciting/facilitating requirements, through requirements meetings, development of wireframes/story boards and user stories, and presenting a thorough understanding of the business needs to the development team and stakeholders.
* Performs analysis of industry standards, new innovations, technical data, and/or client procedures and data systems producing solutions and analysis documentation.
* Work effectively with teammates; collaborates and coordinates on shared work products and related tasks across business analysts to ensure best solution.
* Provides input from high-level to detailed estimates for new requirements, change request and defect analysis.
* Participate in team agile tasks and sessions such as unit testing, story estimation, sprint planning and retrospectives.
* Perform analysis of data consolidation and migration results to support business stakeholder review of exceptions .
* Conducts unit testing of data transformations, system installations, configuration and functionality to confirm requirements have been met.
* Supports the documentation of product deliverables including, project plans, system configurations, gap analysis,stage gate reviews and decisions/ action item status.
* Reviews plans and deliverables; provides feedback for improvements.
* Support O&M issue analysis and resolution; document potential design solutions, process modification or prevention strategies.
* Clearly communicates ideas and solutions to non-technical people; builds relationships with stakeholders and serves as an advocate for client goals.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
* 8+ years of experience in business requirements and data analytic supporting federal government projects.
* Duties may include gathering data for analysis of complex problems, generating user stories/ tasks to define functional & non-functionalrequirements.
* Use of JIRA, wireframe and data querying tools are a plus.
* Agile and Waterfall Methodology.
* Excellent communications and interpersonal skills and experience in client management, with sensitivity to complex organizational structures, varying cultures, and potentially conflicting goals.
* Strong business process and data analytics experience.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
* FDA or HHS regulatory domain experience desirable.
