About Us

Reporting to the Senior Director of IT Development, the Senior Business Analyst will support one or more key projects within the larger enterprise -wide program. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for working with key stakeholders to ensure the project/program meets the needs of GSUSA. They will develop and maintain the Business Requirements and Specifications and will create necessary technical and business documentation as part of the SDLC. GSUSA is using Agile as its SDLC which uses User Stories as its primary user requirement documentation. Additionally, this position will be involved with design of user interfaces, and creation of test plans. They will be responsible for tracking and escalating Risks or Issues to the Project Manager.

What does the IT Team deliver at GSUSA?

* The IT team at GSUSA oversees the governance, infrastructure, and functionality of all network and operating systems at GSUSA.

You Will

* Work with business users to elicit and document requirements for new functionality.
* Work with technical teams to judge feasibility of solutions.
* Contribute to product roadmap that meets future Girl Scouts needs.
* Prepare documentation for end-users, developers, and management.
* Perform quality assurance (QA) testing of developed features.
* Provide technical direction to development staff and vendors.
* Provide functional application knowledge to end users and GSUSA staff.
* Provide technical support to helpdesk in supporting applications.

You Need

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
* 3-5 years of Business Analyst experience.
* Experience in technical writing and preparation of technical specifications.
* Strong communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and support personnel.
* Strong demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Programming experience.
* Experience working with relational databases.
* Experience as a BA with CRM, ERP, eCommerce or similar enterprise software.
* Understanding of Volunteer based organizations business practices.
* Experience with Agile methodology.
