Job Description

Senior BI Architect wanted in New York, NY to Provide technology leadership for business intelligence related portions of advertising and attribution platform. Create and manage application architecture blueprint for MicroStrategy Business Intelligence platform. Design, implement and support the MicroStrategy reporting environment to ensure high availability, resilience, integrity security and performance. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, create financial and technical design. Implement reporting solutions using grid reports, dashboards and document services, visual insights, mobile and data mining services. Create MicroStrategy projects to support new business intelligence initiatives by defining schema, setting up metadata, and creating optimized reports. Review and enhance logical and physical database designs and optimize database design for efficient reporting. Deploy and manage mobile reports on MicroStrategy mobile. Implement comprehensive plan for distribution of reports via automation, scheduling, and distribution services. Data integration, business intelligence and web solutions. Mobile design, data modeling, desktop report development, dashboards, mobile, distribution services, datasmarts, and SQL data warehouse platforms. Use Stars, Snowflakes schemas and Dimensional Modeling theory and concepts, Software Development Lifecycle; MicroStrategy Report Development; MicroStrategy Document/Dashboard; MicroStrategy Architect; MicroStrategy Administrator; SQL; Oracle PL; stored procedures; and SQL optimization. Implement intelligent cubes for supporting advanced analytics. Option to telecommute. Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences + 2 years of experience in job offered or as MicroStrategy Architect.
