Position:  Senior Associate (New York, New York)

Duties: Analyze and interpret business and user requirements and translate them into technical specifications for use by development and implementation teams.  Lead teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business requirements for complex business projects. Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT Delivery teams and deliver end-to-end solutions for complex projects. Develop a deep understanding for business processes, rules and corresponding data flows and system impacts. Interface with Business Partners, Product SMEs, Solution Engineers and Developers to ensure requirements are met.  Identify requirement gaps and collaborate with the appropriate teams to ensure timely resolution.  Engage with the project team to identify and implement process improvement opportunities to optimize the flow of work and delivery timelines.  Work with peers to execute code reviews and unit testing for new development to advance verification tactics and identify issues and defects prior to formal testing.

Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three years of experience performing business and systems requirements analysis or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five years of experience in as noted above. Must possess one year of the following: creating and troubleshooting ETL data mapping tools based on Detailed Layout Requirements (DLR) to provide functional requirements to developers; creating XML tags for mapping data variables with the admin system; using SQL and UNIX to read mainframe data; using OpenText Exstream to perform document composition; using OpenText Exstream to interact with business partners to define project scope and other requirements for correspondence modernization projects; using MessagePoint to design master templates by defining zone names and connectors; providing support to Quality Assurance team for user acceptance testing and defect management using HP Quality Center, including defining test cases and resolving errors; performing requirements analysis and data validation for archiving and online viewing using CMOD and CMS; and engaging with business partners and project team managers to define project scope, creating business requirements, and working with engineers and end users to produce functional requirements.
