Job Description

As a Senior Architect Front End Engineer you will be responsible for defining best practice approaches on a project, client and departmental basis. You will work with other senior creatives to actively pursue new business through your extensive and in-depth industry knowledge. You should continually identify emerging trends and position the interactive team to take full advantage of them.

Responsibilities:

* Be involved in the conceptual phase of projects.

* Create a strategy roadmap for development inline with key business objectives and goals.
* Be responsible for the quality of all the team outputs.
* Ensure development processes are highly efficient.
* Ensure the team is motivated and manage their expectations.
* Facilitate the career growth of team members.
* Build on existing relationships with clients and realize new opportunities which show value.
* Identify new opportunities for Sapient and help to drive and build these business relationships.
* Communicate effectively with globally distributed teams.
* Have accurate estimation skills.
* Be on the forefront of interactive technologies.
* Provide resourcing insights for projects of all types.
* Coordinate with Technology Architects to ensure the successful integration of front and back-end technologies.

Experience Guidelines:

* 10+ years of industry experience.
* Expert knowledge of front-end development technologies, with several specialist areas of knowledge.
* In-depth knowledge and solid JavaScript development experience
* Advanced knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or Backbone with React highly preferred.
* Solid experience with web standards, SEO and accessibility issues.
* Management of project lifecycles from business development to final delivery.
* Experience working with CMS, Portal technologies, and backend frameworks (Java, .NET).
* Portfolio or active GitHub account.
* Strong organizational and estimation skills.
* Heroic get-it-done attitude.
* Ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
* Frequent travel may be required.

Education:

Bachelor's degree required. Preferably in Computer Science.
