Senior Applications Developer - 102G (SharePoint)

Description:

Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications. Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools. Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Acts as team leader on projects. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team. Participates in development of software user manuals.

Requirements:

* 10 plus years of combined technical experience with SharePoint.
* 12 plus years combined experience specifically developing and administering SharePoint sites to support government Knowledge Management solutions.
* 15 plus years of experience in web site planning, design, programming, and implementation, translating technical concepts, information, and requirements into work flows for process re-engineering and automation.
* Desire to have built more than 40 custom user design elements into a knowledge management SharePoint portals, and have completed dozens of work flow modernizations, including automating schedules of conference rooms and the reservation of government vehicles.
* PMI PMP Certified
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance

Education:

Master's degree in or related to Information Technology, Business or Engineering fields is required.

This position is contingent upon contract award.
